I download lots of mp3's and make my own albums. I tend to download the songs with the same kbps. I use NERO to burn them 2 Audio. But I have noticed that some songs are louder than others.

Is there a way to stop this?.

thanks.

MP3Gain is great software, since it doesn't resample MP3s and uses sophiticated techniques to level the volume. It generally doesn't raise volumes (maximize) while normalizing so the results will not be as loud as most popular songs produced today. You my also want to try the fully functional Feurio (www.feurio.com) demo. It also doesn't resample or even modify the original MP3 and will level the volume while burning MP3s on the fly.
