OK I had a few people asking about revs of the software that the DVR-A04 retail box comes with.

I just got my unit and it is fully WinXP compatible!

Comes with the following:

Cyberlink PowerDVD Ver. 3.0
Sonic MyDVD Ver. 3.0
Prassi Primo DVD Ver. 2.0 (XP compatible!)

All software installed and is working properly with XP (So far...)

Looks like this answers my question. It has the exact same stuff as the A04. Thats kind of disappointing actually. They didn't even update the PowerDVD version.
