View Full Version : Overburn+winoncd [; ; win98SE]

I need to make a back-up of one of my discs but when i try i get to 99% and then it justs stops .I have used Detect and it tells me it is protected with Overburn.What i need to know is how can overcome this using Win on cd.
I have tried using Clone cd but failed:confused:

I do not think WOCD will let you overburn. Not sure about v.5.0 because I have not had enough time to install & play with v.5.0.

Have you tried Nero ( www.nero.com) ?

Usually you can get around that overburn "protection" by just using an 80 minute cd-r. Otherwise, you CAN overburn in WinOnCd (I assume you're using 3.8 PE). It just asks that your disc doesn't have enough space are you're sure you want to do it, click on yes. Then it will ask if you want to do a test write. I've noticed that unless you have service pack 2 installed, it will perform a test write no matter what you choose here. So get service pack 2, use an 80 minute cd-r, and make sure there is no other protection (Clony XXL is the newset copy protection scanner, but I haven't seen it in english; otherwise use Clony XL)
