I've managed to convert MP3+G to Bin and it plays ok in my computer using the playcdg pro software but when I put it into my dvd player it only plays the music and no text on screen. The DVD player is a cyber home adl528 which has sockets for microphone/headphones on the front. Do I need to convert the mp3+g to bin and then to vcd before it will work on the dvd player or am I doing something wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

It is unlikely that your dvd player will support playing CDG disks. It will play karaoke VCD's which are essentially videos of karaoke tracks and are played as such. Unless equipment specifically says that it supports CDG then the odds are it doesn't.
