Hey guys;
What is the BEST CDR MEDIA to use for burning PS2?
I usually use VERBATIM DATA LIFE PLUS 80 MIN CD'S. Is there any better media to try? Thx all.

verbatim datalife plus are best
followed by a tie between memorex black bottom and TDK (the one with the toughness coat)

I use mostly Unbraned, Imation, Acer, TDK ect...I burned all the gamez at 16X and they are all working fine no problem...for me it's not a question of media nor speed....I usually bought the cheapest cdrs those that on sale on with a good rebate...!!!

Any dark-bottom blue/black cdr's should do.

i use verbs and never had a no boot or bad burn i would stick to them, why do you want to change if they work good for you ?

Datasafe are very good

i use black bottom disks only. i have tried several types of media and they all work but they all seem to scratch pretty easy except for the black ones. stay away from memorex for sure. i buy 100 blackbottoms for $30 on ebay and i use them for everything from gameing to audio and they outperform and more importantly OUTLAST everything

I use TDK and FUJI's

It's all personal preference but if you've found a brand that you prefer and are happy with then stick with it. Personally I use Datasafe and burn them at 32x speed and they work fine for me.

different ps2 perfer different cdr media. one of my machines does not like verbatim at all.

So, it best to stick to the one that works for u.

i also like the black bottoms
but i use the memorex ones

Fuji, Verbatim, and TDK all seem to work great, and no coasters yet!

dont use the light green bottoms.. they read horribly and screwed up my ps2!!!!!
only dark colored bottoms(green, blue, etc)

I use Verbs, Memorex, TDK, and PNY. These are pretty good and work on my system as I dont hear them spinning as much as the cheaper ones.

now i think it's more the burner than media, i have an old phillips 4x burner and it doesn't matter what i'm burning (games, audio, data) it just wont write to most of the "top cdr's" verbs, tdk's ect. just spits em all out.

i use infiniti professional 80 mins for everything with no problems
