My ps2 has a neo 4.1. After about day 3 of having it, it stopped booting cdrs. First thing I did was rip it apart and head for the CDR laser pot. Unfortunately I did not install the Neo 4.1 so this changed the territory especially when I had only worked on my previous V1 ps2. There are wires criss crossed all around the metal plates in it so I would end up pulling something on that chip if I tried to keep going after the pot so I put it back together and luckly didn't break it anymore then it was. The only thing that boots are dvds and the tray still kicks out and boots dvdr so I know the chip still works. So I need someone that can adjust my pot or else replace my laser. From what I have gathered lasers are like gold now with everyone and there mother burning them out. Any advice on repair shops?
