I know that in order to fit some games on a cdr, some content must be cut out, whether that be music or cutscenes, but which games are just not the same on CDR as opposed to DVDR?
Thanks

bearauto Apr 09, 2002, 02:14 AM I know that in order to fit some games on a cdr, some content must be cut out, whether that be music or cutscenes, but which games are just not the same on CDR as opposed to DVDR? Thanks bearauto Apr 09, 2002, 04:15 AM bump booboy2 Apr 09, 2002, 04:55 AM 007 Agent under fire - crappy sound and no intros to levels Fatal Frame - easier to understand whats going on when you have movies Devil May Cry - 1 dvd or 3 cdr's? Monkey Island - Very slow loader and poor rip GTA3 - only due to the consistant cd access and the noise JR2K Apr 09, 2002, 04:59 AM really? Is GTA3 Noisier on cdr? badderman Apr 09, 2002, 09:46 AM MGS2 because you can't get it on CDr! :D 2die4 Apr 09, 2002, 10:41 AM Yeha GTA3 is quite noisy but it doesn't distract too, its just as good on CDR as it is on DVDR albeit with a few radio stations missing but everything else is there. GT3 is worth getting on dvdr and with original going cheap now it's still worth getting. The DVDRip version I think sucks a$$, all the FMV and music taken ruins the effect. JR2K Apr 10, 2002, 12:15 AM yeah I have the gt3 rip. It's ok but the menu movies are shocking! They are downsampled and look like ****.With the track select they are ripped altogether and you cant see what the track is like! bearauto Apr 10, 2002, 01:54 AM What about these games: Virtua Fighter 4 Tekken 4 Gran Turismo Concept Star Wars Jedi Starfighter TONY HAWK 3 Guilty Gear X NBA Street lover707 Apr 10, 2002, 02:08 AM virtual fighter 4, guilty gear x, and nba street are cd base games.. bearauto Apr 10, 2002, 03:11 AM Thanks lover707, is there a list or a website where I can find this information for all the games? XenovipeR Apr 10, 2002, 03:20 AM GTA3 and Batman Vengence ... both r crap rips ... have to get them on DVD-R or silver... they r both noisy as hell on CD-R backups... bearauto Apr 10, 2002, 12:36 PM OK, ISONEWS.com tells me which games are on DVD, but it DOESN'T tell me which games are BETTER on DVD than on CD. |
