I've just upgraded from a Plex 12x to 24x

I used be able to copy at 12x on the fly with no problem.
Now I can't even do 12x without running out of buffer.
I have the latest firmware(1.13)
My cd-rom is an Ultraplex 40X

I have disabled DMA.
I am using WinonCD 3.8 and have installed the Plextor 2410A drivers for SR2.

I thought it might be the media I was using but had the same problem with the supplied Plextor CD-R


Any help would be very much appreciated.

DMA must be enabled for the Plextors to work properly. They can't achieve their rated performance with DMA disabled.
