Cd- rom drive

Can anyone please help me. About 2 days ago i got a message saying autoplay error. now when i put in any cd into my cd rom drive. it doesn`t pick it up. i can hear the cd spinnig but it wont play it.

if you have recently installed burning software it has most likely
disabled your autoplay to stop it from poping up when copying.
other wise it might be a windows problem
have you tried opening my computer and clicking on a single track
to see if it will pop up ! and you could try reinstalling you player software as i have had conflicts with other programes before
