you can only backup your pc games or playstation games you own already,so we get that out of the way.right i am new to backing up but will advise you what i know. for a start you need a writer as these games are protected.the 24x liteon or 24xplex are the best.i have a24x liteon not sure price in us but in uk cheap and good for backing up with agood software clonecd about 90%.the leatest protected audio not any good at the present. the software you will need is clone cd at www.welcome.to/cloneclinic or try www.justcdr.fr.fm also at the website justcdr you can download clonyxxl which helps set up clone with your writer to back up protected games.hope this helps. at the clone clinic you can find all the help on the forums to back up your games.colin colin5scoblec@sniffout.com

JatDot - It still wants the source = you still have protection problems...

Usually, CloneCD with all the right subchannel settings etc (used Clony??).. will work, and I'm assuming you've done all that correctly; you may wish to try something like Daemon Tools: http://alan.psxemu.com/download.htm

I'm no expert with this product, but I've mates who use them all the time. If you are inclined, take a look and learn about it...

Anyway, hope this points ya in the right direction...
