I have tried to patch these two PAL games (Quake 2 and thrill kill) to NTSC so I can play on my NTSC PSX without Scrolling black and white screen. I tried PALNTSC and P4u2k and don't work. Does anyone know how to pacth these games? Thanks

good to see you're paying attention DC :) I agree AMD ... patching doesn't work nearly as often as using the Import Player Light CD.

Just try it, quake 2 works perfectly. However, thrill kill still get the scrolling black and white screen. Anyone has any idea? By the way, my thrill kill is a beta US version but I don't know why it looks like a PAL game. Thanks

are u sure thrill kill is a NTSC game? because some games are not working right with import player light. i have a PAL version of batmen forever and it doesn't work with import player.

as above ... not every game will work with IPL ... for that matter, some games just won't patch/boot right no matter what u do.

Yeah, thiis game has a label slus so I think this is a NTSC game. Anyway, I think you guys are right. I tried almost everything (patch, convertor, import player), still no luck. I had been wasted 6 discs on this game. I think I should just give up. Dc and 420, thanks anyway.
