A question about NTSC and PAL Psx Games:

I have a Psx and some games are not in color.
Some people told me that the game is NTSC.

I have tested the game on my Pc with a special
utility (x-cheated) that detect if the game PAL
is or NTSC.

It says that the game is NTSC. I tested
some other games. The program says its a NTSC game.
But if I put the game into my Psx the game is in color.

How is this possible? Is the program not good, or
is it my Psx?

(The bootscreen of the NTSC game says:)

That means someone permanently patched it from PAL to NTSC most likely. These patches aren't always successful.

also the program probably detects a standard code for setting the screen (same principble as PAL4U uses) - if the code isnt standard or it uses additional coding (Grand Turismo 2 for example) then it might be displayed in-correctly
