Hello
I have a problem. I have been making backup CD+G's for my collection and have run into a problem. These will play on my Pioneer player but is leaving bits on the screen if I use my new JVC SV 222. I am using a 12/10/32 Plextor burner and a Plextor Ultraplex reader along with CDRWIN. I have been using Office Depot cd's and have never had a problem until the JVC came along. HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks Winston.

JVC Players are Unreliable when playing "back-ups" - Don't ask me why, but they seem to be the only Karaoke Players which don't have a good success rate with any CD-R Media:(

There are other players that have problems with backups. Try changing the media and burning slower.

i've seen problems with RSQs but not JVCs. i've been told that the laser is aligned slightly different with the RSQ

I have had a few JVC triple players myself and I also know about eight other people with various JVC players.
The conclusion is that they are all hit or miss when it comes to playing backups.
The one I have now will play any discs done at up to 24X on the fly when reading with a Liteon DVD player using Discjuggler.
A chum of mine bought his the same time from the same source so I would think it would have been from the same batch, however his does not like anything written with Yamaha writers as well as being fussy about discs.
Best of luck.

Ive burned discs for both RSQ and JVC players and they all work fne. Try using discplanet 80min cdr's. Nice and cheap and seem to do the trick.
