I have a 30001, u2 1c with 8 screws using the the switch box method to boot w/gs v2.. would like to get rid of the and get a no swap chip or one with single swap for dvds. I keep seeing that the 1c code is killing me on what chip I can use please help. thanks inadvance.

You cannot get a no-swap for V4 1C, although some have informed me that a Neo 4.1 works in their V4 1C. I have not tried it though. A Novachip would be the best for your unit as you need a single swap to do CDR's and DVDR's.

Yeah, no Novachips in stock.though, so he can't get one.
