Good day all. I'm recently got into the whole backing up PC games deal. I recently backed up The Sims for pc. A friend of mine backed up The Sims Vacation for me and when I put it in my disk drive, it automaticly ran and installed everything as usual. Then when I tried to start the game, it said "Please Insert CD" even though the disk was already in there. I then learned about the no-cd patch and how I had to overwrite the original exe file with the patched one. My question here today is, if there is any possible way to back up, a back up of sims vacation but putting the patch already on it so it'll run like an original. I have Clone CD, Nero, and Disk Juggler, if it is possible what setting should I use?
