Hello, Just a few questions about no chex, hope that some of you can help me ..

What exactly is no chex?

How does it work ?

Most importantly - is it safe ?

What if someone cheats me out of money (i send money but they dont send item) What is their fraud protection like?

What comeback do I have if this happens ?

Nochex is a company that lets you send and receive money via email

You load money from a debit card such as a solo or switch. They charge 99p for loading money into your nochex account.

It has become really safe during the last 2 weeks as you now have to enter the last 6 digits of your debit card to log in.

If someone cheats you out of money you have no protection. Anyway you would only buy off a person with good references.

I have never had a single problem with nochex.

never had a problem. never used paypal so cant compare, but nochex is a brillian innovation. i highly recommend it. never had any problems with it, just keep your expensive purchases to verterans/senior members and you should have no problems.

I dont know if its just me but I've been trying since this afternoon and cannot log in to Nochex.

Server too busy timeouts occur.

bit miffed as I won an auction but can't tranfer any money!!

I agree its the most efficient way of trading on the net

I've thought about opening a nochex account.The thing that worries me is that the people you send your money to are going to have all your details (home address etc) stored on their pc.If they get busted then ts will have a list of other people to visit.

Do not worry M8 all they have is an email addy.

I agree, No Chex is a very useful service. Even more so when you need something quikly. You simply send the moeny to the other person and they get a confirmation e-mail within seconds :)

There is one thing that I'm not sure about though. I recently lost my bank card (well, it fell down a drain in Alton Towers!!) so what will happen now? I've cancelled the card and a new one should be sent to me within a fe days. The problem is that the new card will have a different card number so how would I log in?

I've e-mailed NoChex and am waiting for a reply. Anyone have this problem before?

I think you can just register the new card just as you did the first card.

It's great! I have an account with them and I haven't had any problems. Its secure and easy to use.

when u log in, u just have to edit the card details and change the issue no
I forgot about this and was wondering why i couldnt send any money :)
