i have installed mohaa using original discs and when i go to play the message....WARNING: missing Glide installation, assuming no 3Dfx available
...shutting down QGL
GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

appears......can anyone tell me what this means.thanx

it means you don't have the proper hardware installed (a OpenGL compatible 3Dcard like voodoo and so)
or perhaps you have, but you have to download latest drivers.
