Backuping Playstation Game [; ; winXP]

Hello everyone my name is Matthew and I got a question about playstation backups. I have a No Soldering Mod-chip in my playstation 2 and I decided since I have a modchip why don't I go rent two games and try to copy them so I rented both of the games: Megaman Legends and Metal Gear Solid:The VR Missions. I copied games before that were mine and they completed succesfully and they worked on my playstation 2 then I tried to copy the games I rented and it finished succesfully but when I tried to play them neither of them worked. Does anyone have a solution? or does anybody know why this happend, if so please either e-mail me at mbrazell@sisac.com or just respond on the message board.

weird - how come other games worked and these don't? did u use proper software for both, and the correct swap trick (if necessary to swap, don't know w/ that mod-chip of yours?)
Give some more detailed explanation pls, as this sounds rather weird.
