backing up a backup [IBM; Net Vista 20i; winME]

I made a backup of MOHAA. I did the betablocker patch to the sectors. My question is this. Can I just make a copy with clonecd of the backup? Like a straight 1:1 copy?

Once you burn an image that has been patched with betablocker, then it has the same weak sectors as the original, this is why it works.
