View Full Version : Which OS to use with an A03

fremar Apr 18, 2002, 01:49 AM I've got an A03 installed on my system and I am currently running 98SE. I am having mixed results when trying to rip/burn DVD's. Would it be a good idea to upgrade to XP or better to stay put? Any advice appreciated. Thanks in Advance Fremar Tonypony1010 Apr 18, 2002, 05:54 AM Win2k, NT, win Xp in NTFS format. marah Apr 18, 2002, 09:31 AM I use windows 2000 with one drive partitioned to NTFS for movies as FAT32 can't handle files larger than 4GB you could stick to Win98 but you would not be able to create an MPG file larger than 4Gb not a problem when you are dealing with Vobs as they are usually 1 GB max however to save hassle in the long run better converting now. tony small t Apr 19, 2002, 09:09 PM instant cd /dvd has some problems with xp that customer support refuse to do anything about nero is fine dvdit mostly good ulead dvd movie factory ok roxio video pack 5 a bit buggy neo dvd ok ish just from my point of view |
