P0stiepat Apr 18, 2002, 01:15 PM Why cant i get a signal if i have turned OFF the Macrovision? If i dont get a signal then i cant back up to tape? I'm using Scart to the Video but cant tune it into the DVD player.
Any help. THANKS:tup:
CHR15 Apr 18, 2002, 01:43 PM If you're using a Scart lead then the Video must be set to the Aux channel, you wont be able to tune a free channel into it (I think anyway :) )
cdcloner Apr 18, 2002, 04:24 PM Select the AV1 channel.
Caterman Apr 18, 2002, 06:20 PM You cannot "tune in" to a scart signal. It is automatically detected when you select AV1 on the video. Make sure you have selected the correct input for the video on the TV, ie. scart or channel number, and away you go.
P0stiepat Apr 21, 2002, 03:47 AM Thanks for the advice guys, but no joy, the problem is, i only have 1 scart connection on my Video player, if i run scart from the DVD player then i have to use a TV lead to the TV, this is where i cant get the signal, if i had 2 scart then there would be no problem, dont think its worth buying a new Video player as the one i have is in very good nick. HELP!!
sickmanofasia Apr 21, 2002, 03:58 AM you can buy scart boxs that can hold as many as four scartleads, this mightsolve your problem ,its one lead from your tv then you have 4 scarts to plug everything else in ,just a couple of buttons on front to switch between whatever ,got mine for £10 .then everything runs on av
Tafsir Apr 21, 2002, 06:30 AM if you are using the tv lead you have to tune in the video to the tv
than set the video to the aux channel and you should be able to copy to video tape
