If you're using a Scart lead then the Video must be set to the Aux channel, you wont be able to tune a free channel into it (I think anyway :) )

Select the AV1 channel.

You cannot "tune in" to a scart signal. It is automatically detected when you select AV1 on the video. Make sure you have selected the correct input for the video on the TV, ie. scart or channel number, and away you go.

Thanks for the advice guys, but no joy, the problem is, i only have 1 scart connection on my Video player, if i run scart from the DVD player then i have to use a TV lead to the TV, this is where i cant get the signal, if i had 2 scart then there would be no problem, dont think its worth buying a new Video player as the one i have is in very good nick. HELP!!

you can buy scart boxs that can hold as many as four scartleads, this mightsolve your problem ,its one lead from your tv then you have 4 scarts to plug everything else in ,just a couple of buttons on front to switch between whatever ,got mine for £10 .then everything runs on av

if you are using the tv lead you have to tune in the video to the tv

than set the video to the aux channel and you should be able to copy to video tape
