I tried asking once before but got no answer. Does anyone know if this is a laser issue or software why only 80% of the dvd's burned with nero are good? I'm using Apple media so I know that's not the problem.

the ones that dont work are they failing burn or burning 100% but not loading in dvd player

Its a software issue. Its not necesarily just a percentage thing. For instance. I once (before i got primo) burned a bad copy of fast and the furious... so i tried burning the same files again.. it was bad.. i then tried a 3rd time... still bad. So, for some reason... on certain movies.. authored certain ways, it will not work. I guess you if figured out the certains you could eliminate the coasters in nero...

I dont use nero for dvdr ......... I used to use it all the time till I got my dvd burner! now it just bugs and I don't even use it anymore. I think its to do with certian (roxio) drivers on xp, stick with either primo dvd or mmjb.

Never had an error. I'm using the latest nero. Didn't get primo:(

Its not really an error. Just compatability issues... just on certain occasions.
