what's all this thing about dvd-r, dvd+r, dvd-rw, dvd+rw, dvd ram, and dvd rom?
i searched around the forums and saw many threads similliar to this but i m still confused..
i have a philips dvd+rw-d01... and i wanna no what type of dvd disks i can burn with this.

i would like to now what this means also. so basicly when it is +rw u can use rewritable dvd's right. but i am still confused with dvd-r, dvd+r, and dvd-rw. are there specific dvds for those?

Second gen DVD+RW drives will write both DVD+RW and DVD+R.
