i was advised to write with option to AWS but on my version 3.1.0.0 there is no option to amplify weak sectors is there another way of doing it please, so that it will play in any cd drive?. Ive heard there was some other software to copy safe disk 2 that will work what is it please?

SafeDisc 2 is the protection on the disc that is giving you the trouble.

AWS was not added untill Clone CD Version 3.2.0.1, so I suggest you update or just patch the image with betablocker before burning.

ive patched the image with beta blocker the game installs and accepts serial then it asks for the original cd, ive tried using clones hide cdr but that didnt work either im using a 16x plextor ide writer to read and burn, god this is bugging me now:mad:

If you used the updated version of betablocker and your copy still doesn't work, then I am afraid that your burner is simply not capable of producing working 1:1 copies of SD v2.51.xx and you will just have to use a cracked EXE.

had these problems myself m8, got a patch from megagames.com in the end, just copy into the maxis dir

Bren 127 I got a patch through megagames but it didnt work it said put it in the sims folder and run it but it didnt work could you possibly email me the patch you used m8

1) Extract "HotDate Loader.exe" into your "The Sims" Installed Folder.
