i just bought a external mod chip for psx. and i have to tilt it on it's side in order for my psx to work properly. i used the swap method before and it doesn't do that. only after i use the external mod chip. can anyone have an explanation for it?

if you're talking about the plugmod, i dont think its because of that, maybe your laser is dirty, or maybe you're using cheap cd-r

i got the plugmod and modchip, never have a problem, btw, my ps is 7 yrs old, hehe still working though

no, my laser was working fine until i use the plugmod. and when i use the swap method again without the mod, it's back to normal again.
