Sorry just a bit more info I burned the one last night from a (Silver DVD-R) with Prassi new version, ok reads in no problem. When I put the blank DVDR in the computer says it will take 20 mins but In reality it took around 40 / 50 mins does anyone know why this happens could it be the cheap arse media supplied by Lynx. Or the firmware setting on my PC i have a P4 1.7ghz with bags of ram ?

I would say that it is because your were only writing at 1x, as the media was not 2x certified by pioneer.
