I have got a 32 speed burner, i use 32 speed media, how come it takes 10plus mins to burn lord of the rings and A.I. Also I seem to have some discs that just wont copy, any reasons why??? ise use nero or clone cd, usually on the fly, but if they dont work then i try and creat an image first but usually still no luck. Any help would be really really appreciated, many thanks, liam

Is DMA enabled in the drive's system properties? If not, turn it on.
Also, perhaps check that you have the updated ASPI drivers loaded. If not, search for a proggie called ForceAspi.
Could also be that the media sucks, try a better brand.
And finally, I'm sure 100% sure about this (because I don't have that fast a burner), but does the drive run at UDMA/66 speed? Do you have the correct IDE cable that will allow you to transfer at that speed?

I'm guessing that this doesn't just happen when burning movies?? So I'm moving this one to CDRW.
