Hello if somebody can give advice how to flash
some Lite-on fw (24102b) to my sony 175a1?
i cannot just flash it with liteon fw because the
drive is not looking like Liteon even it really is
liteon 24102b my firmware is 5YS2.
thanks lot for any advice.

To my knowledge Sony still makes all its own drives....perhaps they are using Lite-Ons these dayz, but even so you can't simply flash a drive with their firmware. Nor is it advisable to do so!
There are sometimes tricks or hacked firmware when this can be done, but not something to really try on your own. I did look at a couple sites and saw no info for doing so with this drive.

I did it but the drive was not burning, maybe it because i was not using 24102b binary but some exe file which rewrited my fw. but no matter i put the drive back for another to the store 175e because of led flashing error. But i'm sure that sony 175a1 is liteon because of tested characteristics nad design of back part.

As I said above, I have my doubts whether this is true, and as you found out flashing a drive incorrectly will trash it!
While its possible Sony might be using a few parts from LiteOn, I'll bet they still write their own firmware for it.

i didn't trash drive it normaly burns with original fw. but the led control flashes but that was the problem before flashing and as i said i don't think that sony makes all their drives, if it was true every 175 drive must have same parameters and this is not true. my 175e reads rw at 40x a1 at 16x
theres also different in overburn possibility and so on.
