View Full Version : my comp restarts for no reason (during start up)

i got the tobishia satelite laptop(newest one) w/ windows xp. i was playing gba roms of the games i have on one of the logged on users on my comp. the computer mysteriously restarted during gameplay and it sugessested to pick (last settings that worked). then it said the error message is to say that updating the password is incorrect. and then it just restarts again. i tried holding F5 and i tried all the options but it continues to restart on the screen w/ the error. Can anyone give me some help. ThAnX

Can you get in when you select safe mode?

Hit F8 during startup. Try to go to Safe Mode as Roger suggested.

This is most likely a driver issue. I would bet that's what it is.

I don't think you have a security issue though, so I am moving this to Open All Topics. You will probably get a lot of good help there. If you have any more details, please post them. :)
