IMHO the HP 920, it's just been awarded "Best-Buy" in June 2002 Computer Buyer (not yet released). I've fitted up many of these on systems and the quality and reliability can't be beat in this class from all the printers I've seen and used.

The Epson C60 is noisey, but other than that it's great value

I've got the HP Photosmart 1115 printer. This has amazing picture quality as I bought it to go with my digital camera.

It has a 600dpi and can print 2400x1200 images. I've only tested it on normal paper in draft print for the photos so far (getting some photo paper!) and the picture is amazing!

I would recommend this. It costs about £160 and also has a nifty feature of allowing you to insert your digital camera memory card into the printer and print photos without the need for a computer :)

You can get cheap lasers for £150. More economical in the long run. And if you don't plan on printing colour pictures it's a good option.
