I went too www.kanection.co.uk (pc section)

and saw this and thinkin of buying it

what do u think of it , good value for money?

i dont know much about vcds and want to find a way of playin them is this a good player?

also what are mp3 cds?

please help!

Well, that player is good for the price range and conveniently plays MP3 CDs & VCDs but it has relatively high background noise (due to low signal-to-noise ratio) that many people complain.

BTW, MP3 CDs are MP3 files burned on the CDs in data mode that will play on MP3 players (both Windows or stand-alones). Depending on the bitrate used to encode the MP3s, you can have over 100 songs on a normal 640/700MB CD.

The DAV 311 is not very good sound. I have the 315 which is much better. Mail me at emailrob@yahoo.com is you need more info

I agree. You should get the 315 instead of 311. That's the reason you can get it so cheap.
