I use them for data cd's and audio cd's and so far have worked fine burning at 24x,they may not work on your DVD player (if your using them for VCD'S , SVCD'S) . They don't on mine as well as a couple that my friend has. For VCD's i use Datasafe Originals (Silver top ,Blue writing side)

Got a few hundred of the Datasafe Silvers no problems so far done ps2,pc,psx,vcd and audio all worked fine.
The vcd's worked great in my dvd player( Danasi 852 ) as most discs seem to it doesn't seem to fussy what media is used.

the white tops are the special edition but they may not be the same as the silver premium. Although they do llok the same underneath and are both made by Ritek
