Read the guide at the top £300 quid is a lot of money if you cant do it or find you have to upgrade your PC. My advice have a go on your HDD first once you have mastered it splash out the cash I spent about 2 weeks getting to grips with the process hadn't even put a disk in the drive let alone burn any and in that time the drive dropped £20 in the shop I bought it from. See what I'm getting at, Spend a couple of weeks learning then buy when you are ready it may be £280 by then!

With that drive you can burn DVD-R and DVD-RW.. The largest blanks available are 4.7gig or 4.37 binary gigs.

Have a read of the DVD-DVDR newbie guide to get some idea of the process involved..

I assume the 14 free disks are CD-R disks though and not blank DVD-R's. Your original post wasn't clear.

Ebuyer have a Retail DVD-RW5120A 12x10x32 form £305 here:

I think that the deal lodwales is talking about is for 14 DVD-R's and is from bigpockets.

Anyway, I'm moving this to consumer's opinion.

Its does sound a good deal but the description says:

1 x Datasafe 4.7 DVD-R

1 x Datasafe 4.7 DVD-RW

1 x Traxdata 4 speed re-writable CD-R

1 x TDK 80 min /700 mb CD-R.

10 x Bigpockets Branded Disc's

Looks to me like the 10 blanks are unbranded CD-R's.

I'm not knocking it though, like I said it does look a good deal. :)
