I've heard that there's a gta london game. Does this play on its own or do you need gta or gta 2 to run it? If so, which one and how?

It's a standalone game you need nothing but ur PSX!!

You would be better off buying GTA2. Its 19.99 now. When I bought mine, I went to the store to but GTA 1 or Gran Toursmo1(not knowing they had 2 out.) When i got there I saw GTA2 and GT2 so I got GTA2 Its a good game, but 3 is much better and 4 will be too.

when I loaded gta london (back up) it told me to insert grand theft auto disc....

Gta london is an addon, you'll need the original :(

MegaGames (http://www.megagames.com/) has a patch for the Australian and UK PAL versions to remove that cd swap check so you can play it without the original GTA

Yes, I came across that problem too. You'll have to copy your cd with CDRWIN and d/l & apply the above patch, then re-burn onto a new cd.
But don't despair. Your original is not completely useless. It would make a fine coaster! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Couldn't find the patch on megames. Maybe I haven't looked in the right place.

Its there and not to hard to find
first you gotta click on Console in the side bar menu on the left
then on the next page click Playstation 1
after that click PSX Patches on the menu side bar to the right
then click on G and goto the Gt-Gz page of the G section and its right at the top of the list
the direct link to it is http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_patches_g_2.shtml

Make sure you get the right patch for the region of the copy you have or else it wont work
