rushlight69 Apr 28, 2002, 12:41 PM Ok i'm new to these, looking for some info and a supplier.ANYBODY RUSHLIGHT gooty Apr 28, 2002, 01:15 PM karaoke discs come in 3 flavours. 1) CDG=same discs as played in your local pub. You'll need either a karaoke CDG playing machine or if u wanna use your PC, you'll need CDG playing software + a CDG format CD Drive in your computer. 2) VCD=playable on a PC without specialist software or on a VCD compatable standalone DVD player. 3) MP3=compact way of storing lots of songs. Playable with the right software on your PC (CDG format CD Drive not necessary). Capable of being converted using the right software into either of the 2 above types. Many suppliers, I would recommend Davenport. Keymaster Apr 28, 2002, 02:20 PM MP3= MP3+G, actually a pair of files. The MP3 contains the audio, like any MP3 and the .cdg file contains the graphics. |
