I don't think you can. I know you can use your pc speaker but if you are in DOS i don't think that your speaks will work because your sound card won't have had the drivers for it loaded.

You have to have the DOS drivers for yur Soundcard both installed and loaded in DOS for this to occur. Check your SC makers support site they should have the info and drivers if you need them.

Soundblaster cards and compatibles will load DOS drivers for the soundcard from autoexec.bat. They should be installed by default.

Well.... it also depends on the Operating System and the sound card you use. Will you plz give us more details about your card and OS ??

Agree with MasterMind. My soundcard doesn't support DOS and I have no way to play DOS games on that PC with real sound (have to go thru PC speaker which doesn't sound any good :))

Go to Device manager in system properties, you will find it under "Sounds, video and games controllers".

No Go.. LFM
First of all Windows ME don't have DOS mode.
Secondly you have on-board Sound Chip which dosen't support DOS drivers. And you are using Windows Device Manager (WDM) Drivers.
