Hi, Please can you help i,m trying to make up a compilation cdr or cdrw disc from various othere cd,s i own but after doing the first burn in "cd copy" mode it won,t do any more it just keeps ejecting it and saying "put a new cdr or cdrw into the drive"but i havn,t closed the disc so why does it do that? because when i,ve burnt in "audio copy"mode , burning mp3,s off the hard disc there,s no problem doing more than 1 session as long as i don,t close the disc of course.
Also i,d like to burn tracks from a tape deck, i,ve got the connectors but i,m not sure how you record them to the hard drive?
i,m using nti,s pro. software.

Regardless of the burnware you use, there are couple of things you need to keep in mind:
1) When you burn a CD in CD Copy mode, the burned disc will be closed.
2) To burn some tracks at one time and some more later, you need to use Track At Once (TAO) mode. The annoying issue (not really a problem) is TAO will put a 2sec gap between tracks.
Now, assuming you have the right cable, connect the tape deck's output to the soundcard's input. Use a good wave recorder such as GoldWave ( http://www.goldwave.com ), or Cowon Jet-Audio ( http://www.cowon.com/English/engdownload.htm#JetAudio ) to record the audio from line-input and save it as WAV on HD.
Also, this type of question is more suited in the Audio forum.

Try posting this in the CD-R & CD-RW forum.
Are you sure you havn't closed the disk?
