Can someone simply burn it and use the boot disc? I've seen some people sell boot discs before in their lists (don't remember who), but does it work simply like that? Anyhow, if anyone's tried it, let me know how it went and if it does work for all games, anyone sell it for cheap? Thanks.

From what I heard boot discs dont work. If you want a copy of one I have seen them for download on different sites. I dont enterily understand how a boot disc would work for PSX as a PSX bott disc is different to a Dreamcast boot disc

A PSX boot disc has to be pressed not burned... That is if you want it to work without some kind of modchip or plugmod.

Thanks for the replies...but what about those other ones that are out in the market that sell for like $20 bucks on some sites. Does those really work? Can you simply buy that and make a copy from it and get it to work? Thanks again.

For the Playstation, there are a couple different boot disc. The easiest one is the PS-Xchange. It is pressed and will boot like any other Playstation game. Another boot disc is the Gameshark CDX. You are going to have to do a single swap while the gameshark disc is spinning. It is just like how you boot a ps2 game. Another one is the game enhancer that plugs into the parellel port of the Playstation series under 900x. The game stops spinning and all you have to do is push play.
