Hi can someone help me I reformated my HD on the weekend and reinstalled windows XP and i disable the welcome screen and i told Tweakui to auto log me on but when i reboot it comes up with the password screen and i got back into Tweakui and the tick has gone i put the tick back reboot and it gone again what have i done wrong guys

Don't want to suggest you may be using a dodgy copy of xp but when xp was first out the initial work arounds to avoid activating xp after 14 days did a reset of lots of data at every boot-up which could cause this.

i downloaded my copy of xp and installed it, and i don't have a log in screen, don't put in a password and there wont' be one
