A friend of mine is running Windows Me. She is trying to delete some desktop icons. But every time she sends them to recycle bin new ones arrive on her desktop. Does anybody know how tweak this?

What icons is she deleting? What are they called?

You can not simply delete so called System Icons like My Computer, Recycle Bin, My Network Places, etc. However you can use certain Registry Tweaks to hide (delete ??) them.
