i would like to know what options to enable and to disable. also, what to set the other settings in the bios to. it has an AWARD BIOS. I just wanna be able to get what i paid for with this mobo without over clocking it. thanks.

I don't quite understand what you are asking.

The MB should load all the default settings and other than once you have installed an OS the only option you should have to change is "boot sector virus" protection one.

If you don't know your way around a BIOS its probably best that you leave it at its manufacturers settings, its unlikely that you will be "missing out" on anything. If you are intent on fiddling your best bet would be to go through the settings in the manual one at a time - and remember, if you don't know what it does don't change it!!

It wouldn't really be possible for us to post up what settings are right for you since appropriate BIOS settings are dependant on your hardware.

i guess i will just leave it alone then. i thought i had to fix the settings in the BIOS from the defaults. Thanks anyways guys.
