xp corp. edition crash ?? heres what i get at boot up.
" windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
windows\system32\config\system
you can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the original cd-rom, select r at the first screen to start repair.

ok, how do i repair it ? i cant access windows and cant run the cd from dos. i have a lot of stuff i want to save or i would format and reinstall.

I had lots of problems when i installed xp and one of them was it was
terribly slow at loading stuff so i decided to reinstall me.

I still think Win2K is best...you may want to go with a Win98se/Win2k Dual boot.
