I have a nice "analog" Canon video camera.What is a good program for capturing an editing my tape to a cd.
I have an older DVD player in the computer and I want to run it to my living room TV set.
Can you help with this or at least direct me to an area that I could learn more about this process. I really dont want to go out right now and buy a digital recorder yet.

Buy a video card like an ATI All in Wonder.It has video in/out and sounds like exactly what you want.
