right, tried TMPGEnc, it put all the bits together, apart from the last one, put them together great, the sound is in sync on the first one, but then on teh ones after that it isnt.

You can get quite a few synch problems with any editing, cutting or merging, of mpeg files. Apart from manually editing the audio by cutting from a wav file it is quite hard to correct.

I have sometimes found other apps for joining mpegs can be better. One of my favs id Ordix Mpack from http://www.ordix.com/mpack

Have you checked to see if all the Mpegs have the same Audio bit rate??
If not you will need to de-mutiplex and re-convert the audio before re-multiplexing again. Most of this can be done with TMPGEnc tools.

You could also try a program called VCD Cutter which can also join clips
