If I put my install disk in that came with my mobo, and do a install, will it hurt windows or anything else?? And what does it install??

No it wont hurt Windows.

It will install whatever you ask it to install, sound, Graphics, Modem, Lan etc drivers.

The PC Chips mainboards I've used normally have an Automaed Setup routine going on. All you do is state which mainboard you have and the whole process (including about 7 reboots) is automated.

If you are experiencing Sound, Graphics etc problems then Reinstall the drivers, if your system is not giving you problems then just keep the disk safe until you need it.

Usb ports show up at boot up and no conflicts in device manager, but printer and camera won't work at all...
Any ideas?????
