Hi,

I have 2 sticks of 256mb ddr in in my system.1 stick is samsung 1 stick is crucial.Well, even right after i start my system up i go into power strip and says i only have like 395 megs free?I can close anything runninng in the background and it still doesnt free up?Is it faulty ram do u think or do i not have something configured right?I dont have conflicts in my device manager either.

Also...when i hit the button in power strip to free up the ram it still cant free up that 100 megs?

You don't ever have 100% of your RAM free as Windows will always use some.

I wouldn't have said that the RAM is faulty.
