I currnetly have an SBOX that I'm kinda afraid to install, but I'll give it a whirl since I installed the modchip in my PSX fine. Anyways, I want to be able to play DVD-Rs as well, and I'm not sure what chip to get...I count 8 screws, Model NO is SCPH-30001 and the Serial is U2671410.

well if ya wanna play with the DVDRs then id suggest you get the neo 2.2 or 2.5.

Since you already got a Sbox/Neo Key, you can get a no-solder modchip. It just plugs into the main board, easy too easy. Combined with the Sbox, you can boot all games even DVD-Rips over 71min.
