Which dvd writer would u recommend, Havent heard much about the HP100i but does anybody own one & recommend it, Any info will be of great. Thanks.

I think HP only lets you burn to DVD+RW discs, not DVD-R or DVD-RW, so I would go for the A03 (which is what I have).

I think you should base your decision on what you plan to do with the DVD's that you create. If you have dvd players that support DVD-R or a PS2 then go with the A03.

If you have one that supports DVD+RW or don't have a player that supports either I would probably go with the HP drive just because erasing a DVD+RW is fairly easy if you want to, and its slightly faster, but the media costs more.

Go with the Pioneer, trust me. I think rishardc has a good point, but if you're in this forum I'm pretty sure you're gonna want the Pionner A03.
