hi there ok i would like to know this too how does someone read
the games disk as no writer or burner can read it at all
all so i get the feeling they did what the psx1 did with there dev kit
take one of the chips of that machine and put it in another machine
hence your machine works backups
i get a feeling that they have copied a chip of the dev kit of the xbox
and copied this and just put it in a bog standard xbox machine
so hence the machine will run dvdr as all xbox games are tested
with these disks when they program it

for now there might be a modchip out but i think microsoft will combat
this by simply adding a update to a games in the middle soooooooo
it would make the modchip no go or add the update to demo disks


we can only wait and see but i think they copied the dev xbox chip
to get round the security

there is only one way round and that is using the xbox dev kit
nothing more
