Ohhhhhhhhhhh, just came out today & its v good. I havnt played Fiffa to see how good it is compared to that but this is v good. The mags have marked it down but if u play it its worth more than what they say. If u like footy games than u should def get this :D

Have u played Pro Evolution or Winning Eleven 6 on PS2? How does it compare to these?

Me m8 has a PS2 and he has Pro Evolution and its the same. The graphics and menu is a bit different but the gameplay and stuff is also nearly the same. I havnt played Winning Eleven 6 but me m8 has and he said is v good and he thinks that ISS2 for Xbox is good to. Its def worth playing on it anyways ;)

I have played ISS2 for the PS2 and I can tell you know Pro Evo and WE6 are miles better. Not sure about it on the XBOX tho....

Eh? I find all this hard to believe. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe ISS2 to be made by the Konami Osaka team (they also made ISS for the SNES and the N64 and I believe, a single version of ISS on the PsOne), whilst Pro Evolution Soccer Series on the PS2 is made by KCET-Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo (they also made the ISS Pro Evolution Series on the PsOne).

The Osaka game has always historically been more "arcadey" and easier to get to grips with. Not to detract from it, it is a great game. I'm assuming the GC version is similar.

The Tokyo game is the most realistic and enjoyable football simulation on any platform anywhere, I absolutely love this game. I don't believe they are going to release this sadly on the GC unless anyone has heard evidence to the contrary.

Some Tokyo fans will slate the Osaka game, I feel this is very unfair, they both have their merits and very little flaws, they are both totally difficult, its like a strategy game fan slating arcade games-I believe it is purely a matter of taste.

i have just cheked and there is ISS2 which has just come our for Xbox out for GC m8. They are booth the same version ;)

I played all the ISS games on the ps1, the first one seemed really crap, then there was the 98 version then the Pro version that was superb and ISS Pro 2 which was just as good.
Then i played Pro Evo for a bit and that is superb.....now i bought ISS2 for my GC (sorry 2 talk bout this in the xbox forum) and expected it to be at least a bit like Pro Evo, but its not....its not bad...but nowhere near as good.

Why would anyone want to play an arcadey ISS2 over Pro Evo???

Just an update, the game is very good but the gameplay could be improved. The Goalkeepers are v poor and u can score from anywhere nearly. If u have a long shot and put some curle on then u could score. The defence is good as they dont let u go past at all its just poor Goalkeeper that spoils the game. Its still worth playing on just as its the best footy game for the Xbox ;)

I hear WE6 might be coming to the gamecube. I hope so!!! I like both the Pro evo/WE series and the ISS series. I agree with Jairzinho, it's all a matter of taste.
